Missing a Pet? Check the Parma Shelter
Have you lost a dog or a cat? Please check with the Parma animal shelter.
Looking to adopt a pet? Check our Dog or Cat of the Week picks.
The Parma Animal Shelter's mission is to find loving homes for animals brought in by the Parma Animal Warden. The shelter is run by volunteers under the direction of the Warden. The staff is very
helpful and can answer all of your questions. They will foster the animals if necessary until they can be adopted into a permanent home. If you have the time, space, and love for a new member to
your family, please stop by to meet your new friend.
Parma Animal Shelter is NOT a no-kill shelter. Any animal that is healthy and adoptable will be given a chance to
find a forever home but sometimes an animal is injured or too sick to place. Sometimes the ACO must pick up feral or unadoptable animals and these will not be placed.
The Shelter collects aluminum cans, Morris symbols and Tops grocery receipts to raise funds.
The Shelter is located at 6260 State Road (behind the #2 Fire Station).
Please call: 440-885-8014
The Shelter is open:
Monday Thru Saturday 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Sunday 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
